Hi All, I've often thought of what kind of thing I could do after school for a job. Like, a normal job. I already proofread braille books and get paid for that every so often, when there's work to be done. But something steady, taht I coudl go to. Right now, I really need to concentrate on my work, but maybe a summer job? Lol my mom saw this guy putting potatoes into a bin and mashing them for fries at In and Out and I said I should do that lol! But seriously. Like did any of you ever work at restaurants or whatever when you were younger? Or stores? When you're blind, I mean. How does that work and what can we do, in that sense? Caitlin

When you're older, you can work in offices and answer phones. If you go to www.volunteermatch.org they take volunteers of all ages. Volunteering is great for resumes.

Ooh thanks Triv! And lol bagging groceries? That's a good idea really! Hehehh! I like that! And if I get a guide dog I could offer to walk them to their car, because like I could just hol the harness and hold groceries with the other hand. that'd be kinda hard with a cane hehehe. But ya I liked the phones idea too. I love phoens... I may also tutor some people at school soon so that'll be fun...
Thanks! Anymore ideas would be greatly appreciated!

This might require a second set of hands, and a willing parent, but babysitting might be interesting.
